Framing, additions & garages in Central New York
Additions, garages, and new builds framed straight, square, and to code — the structural backbone every finish trade depends on, handled by a veteran-owned crew.
Proudly serving the Rome area & all of Central New York.
The structural work our framing crew handles
Framing is the skeleton of the whole project. Every cabinet that hangs level, every door that closes cleanly, and every tile line that stays straight depends on the framing being plumb, level, and square first. We build that foundation carefully because everything that follows is only as good as the structure underneath it.
We frame additions, garages, outbuildings, and new construction, along with structural repairs like sistering joists or correcting a sagging floor. We can build from your architect’s plans or help you scope the project from the start, and we coordinate around the inspection schedule so the job keeps moving.

Why straight, square framing saves you later
Bad framing hides until it’s expensive. A wall that’s out of plumb or a floor that isn’t level shows up later as cracked drywall, doors that won’t latch, and finishes that never quite line up — problems that are far harder to fix once the house is closed in. Getting the structure right the first time is the cheapest part of the whole job.
Framing is also where code and permits really matter. Spans, headers, fastening, and load paths all have to meet New York requirements and pass inspection. We frame to that standard from the start so your project moves through inspection without surprises.
How we estimate framing and new construction
Framing price is driven almost entirely by the plans — the size and complexity of the structure, the foundation it sits on, span and header requirements, and how it ties into any existing building. Because of that, framing is best quoted from drawings or after an on-site scope.
On-site estimates are $100, credited back toward your project when you approve the work. Bring whatever plans you have — or none at all — and we’ll help you figure out the scope and put a clear number in writing within one business day.

Framing questions, answered for homeowners
Do you frame from my plans or provide them?
Both. We can build directly from your architect’s or designer’s drawings, or help you scope the project if you’re still in the planning stage.
Do you pull permits?
We frame to code and coordinate with the permit and inspection process. We’ll walk you through what your specific project requires.
Can you frame an addition onto my existing home?
Yes. Tying a new structure cleanly into an existing one is a big part of what we do — from the foundation connection to the roof line.
Do you handle structural repairs?
We do — sistering joists, correcting sagging floors, and similar repairs. We’ll assess it on-site and explain the fix before we start.
How do inspections work?
Framing is inspected before it’s closed in. We build to that standard from the start and are on-site to walk the inspector through the work.
