Everything a full siding installation covers

New siding does two jobs at once: it seals your home against wind-driven rain and snow, and it changes the entire look of the house from the curb. We handle both ends of that — tearing off the old siding, correcting what’s underneath, and installing a weather-tight exterior that’s trimmed out cleanly at every corner, window, and door.

Before any new panel goes up, we install a proper moisture barrier and flash the openings so water has somewhere to go besides into your walls. We finish the job with new trim, soffit, and fascia so the whole exterior reads as one coherent, finished package rather than a patch.

  • Vinyl, insulated vinyl, and fiber-cement options
  • House-wrap and moisture barrier
  • Flashing around windows, doors, and penetrations
  • New trim, soffit, and fascia
  • Tear-off and disposal of old siding
  • Repair of rotten sheathing found underneath

Why re-side

What worn-out siding quietly costs you here

Siding is your home’s raincoat. When it cracks, warps, or pulls away, moisture gets behind it — and in our climate that means rot, mold, and rising heating bills as your walls lose their seal. Peeling paint, soft spots, or panels that rattle in the wind are all signs the exterior has stopped doing its job.

Replacing siding is also the single biggest change you can make to how your home looks, and it pays you back in curb appeal and resale value. Doing it once, correctly, with the moisture details handled, is far cheaper than chasing leaks and rot a few years down the road.

Siding estimates

How siding is priced — and why we quote on-site

Siding cost depends on the size of your home, the material you choose, how much trim and soffit work is involved, and any sheathing repairs we find once the old siding is off. We quote it after seeing the house so the number reflects your actual project, not an average.

On-site estimates are $100, credited back toward the work when you move forward. We’ll put materials, colors, and scope in writing, and follow up within one business day so you’re never left guessing.

Siding FAQ

Common siding questions, answered

Vinyl or fiber-cement — which is better?

Both are excellent in our climate. Vinyl is lower-maintenance and budget-friendly; fiber-cement is more rigid and premium. We’ll walk you through the trade-offs for your home.

Can you side over my existing siding?

In most cases we recommend a full tear-off so we can inspect and correct the sheathing and moisture barrier underneath. We’ll explain what we find.

Will new siding lower my energy bills?

Insulated siding and a proper moisture barrier can reduce drafts and heat loss. We’ll help you weigh whether the upgrade makes sense for your home.

Do you replace rotten wood underneath?

Yes. Any rotten sheathing, trim, or fascia we find gets repaired before the new siding goes on — we’ll document it and discuss it with you first.

How long does a siding job take?

Most homes take several days to about a week depending on size and detail. We’ll give you a realistic timeline in your estimate.
